What insurances do you take?

We accept most all major insurance carriers, and are in network with several local providers. Call us today to see if we are in network with your insurance. Dee Dee or Starla will be happy to verify your physical therapy benefits for you! We also offer several self pay options for various services to fit your needs.

Do i need a doctor’s referral?

No, you do not need a physician’s referral to schedule an appointment and see a physical therapist. You can see a physical therapist anytime you’d like to be evaluated or treated. If further evaluation is needed, the therapist will refer you to a physician.

How Many Therapists Do you Have?

We have four full-time licensed physical therapists here at Ultimate Edge Sports Medicine, with a combined 28 years of experience ready to serve you.

if a doctor prescribes physical therapy for me, can I choose any therapist or clinic?

Yes! You have the freedom to chose whoever you’d like to see and wherever you’d like to receive your physical therapy, just like you can choose your pharmacy if a physician prescribes a medication for you. We pride ourselves in communicating with your physician to ensure they are aware of how your physical therapy care is going.

How do I book my first appointment?

Give us a call, send us an email, or contact us through our social media pages. Simply contact us in the way that is most convenient for you and we will get you scheduled.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

If you have a physician’s referral or imaging results, please bring those with you to your first appointment for the therapist to review. Bring your driver’s license and insurance card. Bring a friend or family member for support if desired. Lastly, bring all of your complaints and get ready to start feeling better! ☺

what should I wear for my appointment?

Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Bring shorts if you are being seen for your hip, knee or foot/ankle. Bring any shoes that you might wear on a regular basis. Bring a sweater/sweatshirt in case you get cold.

How long does each session last?

The typical physical therapy session lasts approximately 60-90 minutes. Each session can vary depending on the problem being addressed and the phase of rehabilitation. Sessions may be longer or shorter in the beginning and change toward the latter stages of rehab.
